Pro Bike Messenger Bag with Stripes (MD)

As a past NYC Motorcycle Messenger from the mid 70s with a original brown messenger bag with yellow lining, I was seeking the same bag. I needed a second bag as my first is still in use carrying recovery gear in my 4x4. It's done much including for hauling assorted mast bases and gear for windsurfing too. Some small tears in the lining from hauling metal edged items but otherwise solid. I didn't want a super large messenger, so the medium is perfect. This time wanted a bag that worked as my bicycle gear bag for trips when I need to carry bike shoes, helmet. a few kits and assorted gear. It all fits perfectly. As well. When I need to run an errand on my motorcycle of bicycle it's a great size without being overly large/floppy. Materials seem robust as I like. You can buy myriad soft bags with fancy clasps, but this bag should stand up to time. Solid stitching, hardware and fabric/lining. This size needs no stabilization IMO. Maybe a securing loop on the main strap for excess strap would be nice but that's it. My old bag had one inside pocket so 2 more is nice as is the handle, so well done MP. Was unsure about the reflective stripes but looks good with the blue and serves a purpose. Cool with better visibility and easily recognizable. Bought this through Staples, but wanted to post my review here as it lines up with my old bag to a T. Glad, I found it.

I bought this as a daily carry for books, pens, and my IPad. It works perfectly and the waterproof is very essential with paper and electronics.

Honestly took a while for me to find a bag that I could literally fit my whole life in and go on trips with it and for my hobby it’s amazing you can adjust the straps on the front and make it bigger to fit more things in it I couldn’t be any happier thank you so much for the great customer service you guys have that help me accommodate this bag! Also you can use this as a carryone bag for flights and have a ton of stuff in it too.

I bought this bag to commute to and from the high school where I teach science. I wanted something that would be large enough to books, binders, class assignments, etc. I went with the medium based on the measurements on the website and I couldn't be happier. The medium size can hold a terrifying amount of stuff, yet sits comfortably across your back. The bag itself is high quality throughout. The vinyl lining is very stiff when new; it softens up with use. I like the simplicity of the bag, which contributes to its overall functionality and ease of use. I get the sense this may be the last messenger bag I ever have to buy.
