Governors Backpack

Bought this as an alternative to my work tote. Love the streamlined design and the comfy straps. Beautiful construction and modern lines. Highly recommend.

This is a REALLY EXCELLENT medium sized and trim backpack. I have many, many backpacks, and this one fills a particular and much appreciated place in my collection. The material that it is made from is a good, tough, fairly heavyweight and substantial Cordurda fabric. Note that this is NOT a large backpack, it is on the trim size, but for what I use it for it is PERFECT. One of the best features is the DOUBLE SET OF GRAB HANDLES on the top of the bag. They allow you to get a really easy and controlled grip on the bag. This is especially important for me because I normally carry a small 12" MacBook, plus a fairly heavy DSLR camera (a Pentax K1). For their size they are fairly heavy. Another prized feature is that this bag will pretty much be able to STAND UP on its own if it is not loaded in a top-heavy fashion. It is very convenient to be able to set the bag down and have it stand up on its own. Another good point about this bag is that the shoulder straps are very sturdy and comfortable. They have a grippy material on the underside of the straps that keeps the bag from sliding off your shoulder if you are only using one strap to carry it. It is an extremely comfortable pack to carry, even though in my case I have some weighty items in it. A final feature that I really like about this bag is that it has a very trim and nice appearance because it does not have any additional pockets or straps that would detract from its plain, well-designed appearance. If you don't require a large capacity pack, but place some priority on a well made, well designed bag that is very easy to manage... (comfortable, top double grab handles, stands on its own...) this pack may be just the one for you.
