CORDURA® Classic Fabric	Classic Manhattan Portage bags bring with them the heritage of the CORDURA® brand which has proven performance in many of the world's toughest environments. CORDURA® Classic fabric, a military grade material, is one of the highest grades of nylon on the market today. Known for its exceptional durability, it is widely used in the outdoor, luggage, and workwear industries. Manhattan Portage uses the highest grade of CORDURA® Classic fabric, 1000-denier with water-resistant coating, so your bag is built to last. Martenxin Original Wax	Martexin Original Wax is a cotton-based fabric impregnated with Martexin® wax proprietary mixture, a unique formula that gives the fabric lifelong resistance to inclement weather, while cotton fibers allow it to breathe. As the fabric ages, it develops a well-worn and comfortable patina, which enhances the look of traditional outerwear, hats, and bags. Tarpaulin Vinyl	Tarpaulin vinyl is a sturdy, bendy, and completely waterproof fabric. This material is used not only to line our heavy duty professional bags but is also used as an exterior fabric for our Vinyl Collection. NEOPRENE	Our top quality Neoprene is 5 mm thick, offering excellent protection against shocks and spills for all types of electronic devices. Manufacturing

While several bag components we use are still made in the USA (Original Wax, Cordura yarns from Invista and A Grade Leather for our newly launched Token line at: www.tokenbags.com), most of our production facilities are now located in Taiwan.

We visit our Taiwanese factories on a regular basis to ensure superior quality, detailed craftsmanship and ethical working conditions. Like our hard working staff in New York, our factories in Taiwan employ teams of hardworking and experienced craftspeople who earn better living wages than other factories located in Southeast Asia.

We still design our entire line of bags in New York City, and regardless of where MP bags are manufactured we are committed to maintaining the quality and integrity of our products. Equally important is our pledge to provide consumers with the best possible quality and value at reasonable prices, which is unfortunately no longer possible if the bags were still to be made in the USA.
