It is such an awesome looking bag. It's a really clean orange color- like a crossing guard or construction hat color. Very vibrant. The laptop sleeve is nicely padded. The velcro flap that covers the laptop is a huge plus for those rainy days. The interior is incredibly roomy even with my 13.5 X 9.5 X 1.5 laptop in it. The inside is all bright yellow and has this special coating or material and although I don't know what it is it's very durable. I'm just unbelievably satisfied with its appearance and spaciousness and "stops traffic" color. I researched laptop messenger bags extensively and decided on Manhattan Portage and not Timbuk2 because of its storage compartments. MP has alot of zipper options for medium/large sized objects like folders and binders. The one downfall is the lack of small compartments for cell phones and pens and small knick knacks like that. I put all of my small things like keys and phone and chaptick in the medium sized compartment which works just fine, too. The price was another huge factor in terms of whether to buy this bag. I don't drop 100 bucks on just anything. But in the end I looked at this purchase as more of an investment. I plan to have and use this MP bag for many years to come and because it is a MP I have 100% no doubt that it will not crumble or snap and break or get soaked with all the elements of living in the city and lugging my work from school to home as a teacher. MP is a solid name. I own items from them and I'm always satisfied and then some.
This bag simply rocks.
