In New York City, the first day of Spring can be as cold and snowy as a day in December or as beautiful and sunny as a day in June. Lucky for those of us in the Big Apple, this year’s Spring Equinox was enjoyed as the latter (and arrived on a weekend too!) Along with countless other New Yorkers I took advantage of the beautiful day and wandered along the Highline. Though I didn’t spot any robins or newly green trees, I did find a bit of crocus (pictured above), a sure sign of the warm days and blue skies to come.
